For webmasters who are monetizing their sites using Google Adsense, please take note of this:
Recently, on one of my sites I have PSA (Public Service Ads) appearing out of the sudden for no apparent reason. I check my google account for that particular site and found this was happening because I did not update my contact information.
After browsing through multiple forums and blogs, I found out that this issue is happening because I have not confirm my contact details by inputing the PIN that Google had sent to me.
I was puzzled because I have received pins before for my other accounts but this time round the problem seem to stem from the missing PIN which was supposed to be mailed out to me months back???
I always check my mails regularly, but this time as my mailing address was to my office, there’s a possibility of oversight by someone that resulted in this issue. As a result, I have been losing Adsense revenue for about a week.
Right now, I just have to wait till my PIN arrives so that I can confirm my contact details. Oh mind! It’s so frustrating!
P.S For those of you who have yet to receive this PIN before, please do not be alarm as you only get this PIN from Google when you hit more than $50 in Adsense earnings.
