Customize Your WordPress URLs To Be More Search Engine Friendly

If you have a WordPress blog, chances are you would have known that your WordPress blog’s default URLs consist of question marks and numbers in them. Now, the ways these URLs are structured, they are not really that search engine friendly and so you need to do some customization in order to make them prettier and easier for the search engines to pick up.

In order to change your URL to be more search engine friendly, there is a way to do it inside your WordPress admin control panel. Under the toolbar section, there is an option menu and under the option menu there’s a tab called “Permalinks”. Click on that and you will be able to change all your URLs there.

Some Nice WordPress Themes!

Here’s a list of nice and clean WordPress themes that you can download for free.

I’m currently using some of these themes on my sites. If you really need something special, maybe you can try using these themes as a platform and modify them to your taste to create something unique and personal. But remember to leave credits to the original authors. :)

If you notice most of them are 3 column themes. Why I always go for 3 column themes is that they allow you to monetize more of your site as compare to a 2 column theme. Depending on your own preferences, a 2 column theme may work better for you. BTW, most of them are blue in color, my favorite color! :)

It’s Time to Upgrade to WordPress 2.3

Two days back, WordPress officially released WordPress version 2.3. So if you are waiting to upgrade to the latest version, it’s time to do so. But please remember to do a backup of your files and database first in the event anything goes wrong with your upgrade. Don’t say I never warn you! :)
