TNX Review

TNX is a new ads network in the mold of Text Link Ads. By signing up with them, you allow them to sell links on your behalf. You get points for selling links on your site and in return you can either exchange these points for cash or use them to buy links instead. In a way, it worked something like a traffic exchange system just that the commodity now is links.

It’s real smart of them to actually implement this points system. Most people will not cash in all their points and will somehow be tempted to purchase some links instead. Once people start find that the system is easy to use and the benefits are there, more and more people will start using it. If they can ensure the whole system is bug free and works without any hitches, it will definitely be a huge success if not for the recent Google fiasco.

This is TNX in their own words:

TNX.net combines the benefits of Contextual Advertising, Text Link Brokers and Relevant Exchange of permanent non-reciprocal text links.

While TNX certainly looks promising, the recent Page Rank fisco will no doubt affect ads network like TNX and Text Link ads. And if you are worried about Google penalizing and lowering your Page Rank, then it would be better off for you to monetize your sites through other methods. You can still try selling links through your own but you need to be more discreet.

Ever since Google started clamping down hard on links selling, links sellers are more discreet nowadays. Links sellers are going underground in their efforts to monetize their sites while trying to escape getting penalized by Google. Although links selling can never be totally eradicted, it looks like Google is winning the war right now.
