The time of the year has come again when every webmaster will be sweating over their websites’ page rank. As you know, Google updates page rank of each site every quarterly. The last update was in early Jan, however these few days; I started noticing the page rank on all my websites behaving abnormally.

I have websites spread across a few web hosts and servers and surprising all the page rank start behaving abnormally at the same time. One moment, I have a site page rank down to zero and the next day, the website has its page rank increased.

I don’t recall experiencing such abnormities during the last update and after a quick check in various forums revealed that Google may have change its page rank algorithm and that might be the cause of my websites’ abnormalities.

Using PLR materials to produce an entirely new product is not new. In fact, most internet marketers in one way or another would use other people’s products to create a better product. However, a lot of online marketers misunderstood the concept of using PLR materials or simply put it, they don’t care at all. Most of the time, these online marketers, instead of using PLR materials to create a superior product, opt to rehash the same thing or worse, simply change the title and cover design to give an appearance of a new product and then release it to the market.

If you are the buyer, you will obviously feel shortchanged and definitely not going to buy from that particular marketer again. This is something that happens on a very regular basic and if you have been online for a period of time, you will find a lot of products that you have bought will be in some way or another similar in context and content. I know that because I have purchase products that are simply rehash materials from another previous product. While this maybe a very profitable way of generating a good amount of cash, it does leave a sour taste in the mouth for consumers and definitely will not do your reputation any good at all.

When I first started my forays into online opportunities, I was told time and time again when starting out to focus on something that you like and have a passion for. This is the same “advice” almost every guru or everyone online has been harping about. And you need to include the appropriate keywords with it because search engine spiders prioritize title information when indexing websites.

There are tons of forums in all sorts of niches you can imagine and best of all the traffic that you drive to your websites are all targeted traffic. It is with this knowledge that many successful marketers successfully build their online businesses with. I have written below some starter tips on how you can use forums to drive traffic to your websites.

First of all, start off by selecting a username that is representative of the site or sites that you are promoting. For example if you are promoting a photography site, you can select a username like “Photo Master” or something catchy. In this way, people will recognize and remember from your username what your online business is.

After selecting a suitable username, the next step is to work on your profile. Most forums will let you display your contact information and some details of yourself. Try to complete or update all contact details and always remember to include your website’s URL. This is a good way to post an inbound link to your website.
