What To look Out For In A Paid Membership

There are tons of membership sites out there that promised you the sky before you join but when it comes to the crunch, many fails to delivery. Personally for me, I have joined a couple of membership sites but so far I have been lucky and find great value in these sites that I have joined. But for many people it may be a different case.

You may have been tempt by the sales letter that promised you get rich fast methods or some other means that will gives you easy money in return of just a small amount of money per month. Or you may have been tempted by vast amount of products that you can sell every month. But at the very end of the day if you do not take any action at all, all the PLR, MMR, MR stuff and information you acquired are only going to be keep inside your hard disk.

Before I join any membership site, I make it a point to do some serious research before making the final decision. It is a heavy commitment to sign up for anything on monthly recurring basics. Although you can choose to cancel your subscription anytime, I don’t take this decision too lightly unless the membership really cannot delivers what it promised.

Please do not be like some jokers out there who are habitual memberships’ subscribers but only for the first month or even not more than a month. As most memberships have a refund policy, these people will join and download all the stuff inside and then ask for a refund. This practice is so unethical and don’t think of even trying it out even if you are strap for cash. By doing this, you are actually accumulating a lot of bad karma and this will only come back to haunt you in time to come.

There are many benefits to joining a membership. Some join a membership to increase their knowledge in one particular area. Others join a particular membership to get their hands on the products that the membership has to offer. And there are others who simply join because of the chance to network with likeminded people. Obviously there are many more reasons why people joined a membership site but basically people join because they want to learn how to make money or make money.

Personally for me, I choose a membership based on a few criteria and I hope that you will find some use for them when you are making a decision to join a membership site:

  1. What the membership offers in terms of information, knowledge and support. In other words, what do I gain from joining this membership. If you planning to become a product reseller, it would make sense for you to join a membership sites that offers a lot of PLR, MMR and MR products for you to resell.
  2. What other stuff are in store for me besides the main stuff like PLR, MMR, MR products. Does the membership offers any and quality and unique products that are not for sale elsewhere. This could be a determining factor for you if you like to resell products but do not want too much competition.
  3. A very active community area whereby you can network with others, brainstorm ideas and basically a very tight knit and supportive group. This is a very important factor for me because a very active, supportive and tight knit community offers more value than the main products.
  4. The cost involve is very important especially when certain memberships can run into hundreds of dollars a month. Decide on a budget for yourself how much you want to spend per month.

I hope these few pointers above will be able to help you make a better decision when selecting an appropriate membership to join. If you need any recommendation on a good membership to join, check this out. :)
