If you are thinking of going into eBay to make some money, it would be advisable for you to go through the programs in eBay University first before proceeding on. eBay established eBay University to help people understand the basics of becoming a successful eBay merchants.
Although the information given in the programs can be found easily online for free, it’s still worth it to pay for the “Selling Basics” course and “Beyond the Basics” course.
The “Selling Basics” course will teach you how to open a seller’s account, how to conduct research and create listings, how to improve listings for greater success, how to integrate Paypal with eBay, how to monitor your auctions, and how to complete transactions.
Once you complete the “Selling Basics” course, you can proceed to the “Beyong the Basics” course which is more advance. This course will teach you how to start and grow an eBay business, how to choose and create listing formats that sell, how to use all of the eBay resources, how to market your business, how to pack and ship your items, and much more.
The beauty of eBay University is that you can choose to complete the classes online in the comfort of your own home or if stay in the United States, you can chose to attend their classes which is held in many locations across the country.
While some people may debate the wisdom of paying for information that can be found easily online, please remember free information is not always free. You need to spend quite a fair bit of time gathering bits and pieces of information here and there. In the end, instead of spending your precious time on building up your business, you are spending your precious time gathering information and understanding how things are suppose to work.
