Can You Really Make Money Blogging?

If you are new to blogging and making money online, you may find it hard to believe that there are people who do this full time for a living and they are making good money out of it. Unless, you have been online for a period of time, you will never be able to understand how ordinary people can make a full time income through blogging. As a matter of fact, there are many ways for a blogger to make money through blogging.

Personally for me, I make money online through affiliate marketing, Google Adsense, paid reviews and selling of text links on my blogs initially. Nowadays, I am focusing my efforts on affiliate marketing, selling of products and services instead. As you can see, there are many ways to monetize a blog such as:

While there is no certainty that you can replace your full time income though blogging, if you put in a reasonable amount of time and effort will at the very minimum be able to make a few hundred dollars a month from blogging at the comfort of your own home. This is a very important source of income generating opportunity for those people who are looking for an alternative source of income or for those who are not able to work full time in a job like housewives and students.

However, if you are looking to replace your full time income through blogging, that is an entirely different question. While there are plenty of 6 figure bloggers and full time bloggers online, the sad reality is that majority of bloggers will never be able to replace their full time income through blogging. It takes more than just simply blogging to make a full time income online. You need dedication, a strong desire to succeed and learn continuously and also to treat your blogging activities as a business in order to achieve the income level that you desired.
