Choosing A Niche

When I first started my forays into online opportunities, I was told time and time again when starting out to focus on something that you like and have a passion for. This is the same “advice” almost every guru or everyone online has been harping about. While this advice is not entirely misguided and to a certain extent, I still believe this is still partly correct, a lot depends on which side of the fence are you on.
Let me explain it more clearly.
We are all into online opportunities for one single big reason and that is to make money. Some just want a couple of hundreds extra a month to pay the bills, others are it for their passion and to make some money out of their passion and most of us want to create a business that can last and give us a passive income for life.
5 Basic HTML Tips For SEO And Website Design

HTML is still one of the best web design languages to use when designing your website. Even though there are more sophisticated ways or languages to design your website, you can never go wrong with the plain old HTML if you want to please the search engine spiders.
If you are new to web design and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and you are designing your first website using HTML, the following tips below will stand you in good stead when designing your website.
1) Always start with the HTML codes or tags commonly found on top of your HTML design page. Always begin and end your document with an HTML tag or with <HTML> and </HTML>. The slash before each code indicates the end. These tags are very important because without them, search engine spiders will have no way of knowing what kind of language your website is “speaking”.
Another important element to take note is the head tags or <HEAD> and </HEAD> which indicate preliminary information regarding your website. One element found in the head of a page is title or <TITLE> and </TITLE>. Even though you may not have any plans of placing a title for your website, it’s still better to have one. And you need to include the appropriate keywords with it because search engine spiders prioritize title information when indexing websites.

There are tons of forums in all sorts of niches you can imagine and best of all the traffic that you drive to your websites are all targeted traffic. It is with this knowledge that many successful marketers successfully build their online businesses with. I have written below some starter tips on how you can use forums to drive traffic to your websites.
First of all, start off by selecting a username that is representative of the site or sites that you are promoting. For example if you are promoting a photography site, you can select a username like “Photo Master” or something catchy. In this way, people will recognize and remember from your username what your online business is.

My Dear Friend!

Recently, one of my close friends asked me how to go about making money online. To cut the long story short, this is not the first time he asked me about making money online. In fact I lost count of the number of times I have discussed with him about real people like me making a comfortable income online besides holding on to a routine job. The extra couple of thousands a month do make wonders to your personal life, if you ask me.
The same thing applies to all of my close friends whom I have discussed this topic before. The opportunities to make money online are real but sadly enough while all of them are excited and keep asking me about it, none take any concrete actions towards making money online. While I may not be the best person around, I offered to guide them along as long as they are willing to learn. So far, none has come back to me for further information on how to make money online. It is really a pity because if I have someone who offers to guide me along, I will definitely jump at the chance.
Now back to my friend who is currently in a unique situation. He has recently become a father and as you know, bringing up a baby is not easy. Besides the financial commitments, you also need to put in a lot of love, care, time and effort to ensure your child is being brought up nicely. Finally, he decides to take some action and ask me to guide him along. I think it got to do with him being a father and his realization that he needs to make more money.
Understand the Market That You Are Marketing To

The single biggest mistake that a marketer should not commit is not understanding or knowing what your intended market really wants. This mistake is very prevalent among internet marketers. Many internet marketers try to market products that they think their intended market would want but in reality it is the exact opposite situation. If you do not correct this problem, chances are you will never achieve any real success on the internet arena.
Always sell to the correct market. This is especially true for intenet marketers who cross sell products by offering products that are of no use to the market. For example, if you have a list of subscribers in a golf niche, would you sell internet marketing materials to them? Would you? But I do see internet marketers doing that, not only in the golf niches but many other niches as well.
What does this tells you?
These marketers simply do not understand and know their market at all or it is simply case of blatant disregard for your market.
This is the wrong way to cross sell your products. Instead look for something similar in the same niche to promote rather than something totally unrelated. One good way to understand your market is by going to forums and goes through what are being posted. Another good way is to have a poll, questionnaires and surveys occasionally to get feedbacks.
To ensure your long term success online, it is crucial for you to understand and know your market well. Once you understand and know their needs, your battle is already half won, now it is only up to you to offer a quality and affordable solution to their needs. Sound easy right!

What To look Out For In A Paid Membership

There are tons of membership sites out there that promised you the sky before you join but when it comes to the crunch, many fails to delivery. Personally for me, I have joined a couple of membership sites but so far I have been lucky and find great value in these sites that I have joined. But for many people it may be a different case.
You may have been tempt by the sales letter that promised you get rich fast methods or some other means that will gives you easy money in return of just a small amount of money per month. Or you may have been tempted by vast amount of products that you can sell every month. But at the very end of the day if you do not take any action at all, all the PLR, MMR, MR stuff and information you acquired are only going to be keep inside your hard disk.
Before I join any membership site, I make it a point to do some serious research before making the final decision. It is a heavy commitment to sign up for anything on monthly recurring basics. Although you can choose to cancel your subscription anytime, I don’t take this decision too lightly unless the membership really cannot delivers what it promised.
Are You Going The Wrong Way!

Now, you may be surprise and curious at the title of this post!
But I have a confession to make!
Now, this title heading is meant to attract your attention and draw you to the important of focusing on one online money making opportunity at a time.
Recently, I have this tendency of searching for the latest fab and looking for ways to optimize my web sites and increase my earnings online. So I began to dabble into other areas outside of my normal scope of focus. While my earnings online did not suffered and in fact increase, my workloads also increase as well, leading to a period of overworking and to a certain degree my health suffered.
However, recently I came to realized that this is wrong, so wrong! Instead of focusing on one project at a time, I was spreading myself too thin and not concentrating all my focus and efforts to building a bigger and better business. While temporary my online income increases to an extent that it already surpasses my fulltime job income, I was getting restless.
