Hi everyone, welcome to my site!

First of all, here’s a bit of information about me.

My name is Albert and I’m from the sunny island country of Singapore in tropical South East Asia.

I’m married to a wonderful lady (name is Irene) who has borne me 2 lovely and beautiful kids (Amilie & Izaac, and with a 3rd one one the way ).

During my free time, I love to read, watch movies and Hong Kong dramas and go for long walks with my beloved wife.

My interest besides the above mentioned are soccer, video and computer gaming and aquatic fishes.

Professionally, I work in the sales industry and I”m also a sleeping partner in a fledging furniture business.

I’m currently working towards my goal of consistently generating $5000 a month from my online business endeavors.

Now to how I get started online and my plans for Profitable Point ………………………………………..

I was first introduced to eBay by my good friend and colleague Andrew.

He was at that time making a couple of thousands a month selling and buying collectible toys over eBay.

The best part of it is he only spent a couple of hours a day to make this sum of money and he’s not even serious about his eBay “business”.

Now just imagine if he gets serious about his eBay business.

Nevertheless, I was intrigue by his success with eBay and I asked him to show me how he did it.

He was very obliging and I learnt a lot from him.

Even though I did not go into the eBay business model, I manged to have a better and more in depth understand of how eBay business works works.

Little did I suspect a few months later ……………………………………………………

In late 2006, I was doing research for setting up my furniture business website when I repeatedly came across make money online opportunities during my research.

I started to delve deeper into make money online opportunities as I was looking for another alternative source of income.

I did a lot of research and reading up, trying to get hold of what the make money online  hype are all about.

The more I read the more excited I became. I also become more confused!

Why?

I’m sure that most of you when starting out will also feel the same too.

You heard of the term “Information Overload”.

You are bombarded by so much information on online opportunities that you don’t know how to start, where to start and what to do!

Sounds familiar right!

It reach a point where I was just lapping up every tiny bit of information in sight.

But you asked yourself what’s the point of reading and gaining so much knowledge if you are not putting them into use.

I also bought into countless programs, e-books, softwares and products that promised you instant riches and tested them out.

Most of them don’t work if you ask me.

As a matter of fact, the ones that truly worked are those that stressed on having a solid business plan, stick to it and persist till you succeed.

If you really think that online business is an easy thing and you can get rich fast, this is nothing further from the truth.

Your end results will be equivalent to the amount of time and effort you put into your online business ,just like any conventional business.

To make a few hundreds USD a month is quite easy (in my own opinion), but if you are looking to replace your full time income, it will take some time and much effort to make it happen.

Personally for me, I have quite a roller coaster ride in terms of income from my online business endeavors.

Currently, I make anything from USD $800 to USD $3000 plus a month from a variety of methods such as advertising, affiliate marketing, Google Adsense and paid reviews.

However, my income is not consistent as I spread out my efforts and time too thinly and it make me realize that I have to reorganize my strategies to my online business endeavors.

After some period of consideration, I decide to focus most of my efforts and energy on Profitable Point.

Another reason is that when I first get started on make money online opportunities, I find that I have a very hard time getting started.

I simply do not know how to start, where to start and what to do!

And with this in mind,  I choose to focus on Profitable Point to make it a site whereby beginners can learn the basics of making money online to intermediate and advance marketers who wants to have some fresh perspective to making money online profitably.
