The rage on the internet marketing world now is all about digital products. A lot of people are selling digital products that they produced or have resell rights to and making big profits out of them. For those of you who do know what a digital product is, then you must be living under a rock. A digital product is basically a digital file or files such as an eBooks, photos or even videos that can be electronically transmitted over the internet easily.
There are many benefits to selling digital products online.
First the setup for selling digital products is so easy to implement and best of all it can be free. You just need a Paypal account to accept money and that’s it. You do not even need a website to showcase your digital products. You can sell your products through forums and discussion boards and promote your products there provided they allow you to do so. Blogs are getting more and more popular nowadays. Given the popularity of blogs, it’s no wonder more and more people and businesses are using blogs to reach out to their customers and their friends. If you have an online business, having a blog will take your business to the next level. There are many benefits to using a blog as an extension to your online business.
Blogs are used by savvy marketers as a means to connect with their customers. A blog is great for new product or service launches without great costs to you. Reviews and feedbacks can then be gathered and these responses can be used to better your product or service before the main launch. Surveys can also be put up on your blog to judge how your business is progressing or what your customers may think of it.
One of the main reasons why people visit blogs is for information. A frequently updated blog will always have readers coming back time and time again for information. Once your blog is up and running well, it’s like a traffic generator. People can’t stop coming back for the information that you provide.

If you are thinking of going into eBay to make some money, it would be advisable for you to go through the programs in eBay University first before proceeding on. eBay established eBay University to help people understand the basics of becoming a successful eBay merchants.
Although the information given in the programs can be found easily online for free, it’s still worth it to pay for the “Selling Basics” course and “Beyond the Basics” course.
The “Selling Basics” course will teach you how to open a seller’s account, how to conduct research and create listings, how to improve listings for greater success, how to integrate Paypal with eBay, how to monitor your auctions, and how to complete transactions.

I’ve a compile a list of paid posting programs that I’m currently making good money from. The ones that I highly recommend is PaYPerPost, ReviewMe and SponsoredReviews. The bulk of my paid posting income comes mainly from these 3 programs but there are others which are just as good, just that I have no time to really explore them.
Depending on your niche, page rank, traffic and other factors, the amount of money you make from these paid programs will varied from the hundreds to the thousands in a month. Although the income may be good, the income is not passive or what you call self generative and you need to spend certain number of hours to do these paid opportunities daily. After a while, you will find things repetitive and will be hard for most people to continue unless you really like to write about different stuff every day. That’s why it’s important to have a long term plan in place.

The recent uproar over the Page Rank update has not dampened my enthusiasm for Text Links Ads. While some have actually condemned Google’s hypocrisy in penalizing those who are selling links blatantly, I see no wrong in Google doing that. Google is just trying to protect their own advertising program and if you are in their shoes, what would you do. Do you expect yourself to sit down quietly while your competitors are slowly biting off your market share?
I have no doubt that selling links remains one of the best ways to monetize your site and I will have no qualms about selling links on my sites. Unless you are making chunks of money through Google Adsense, Text Link Ads remains a great monetization program for those struggling to make decent money off Google Adsense.

However, you have to take note that this source of income is not passive and consistent. One moment, you could be getting tons of paid opportunities, the next moment you may have none or very few. It depends on numerous factors such as your blog’s Page Rank, Alexa ranking, traffic, link popularity and so on.
In this post, I will list down a simple guideline to help you make money from your blog after 3 months.
